Coacher ยท effective 26 October 2026
Coacher is a personal app with a single user, its developer. Nobody else can sign in to it.
What Coacher reads from Google
With the owner's consent, Coacher reads, and never writes, three kinds of data from the Google Health API:
sleep, health measurements (for example heart rate), and activity and fitness. It uses the read-only scopes
googlehealth.sleep.readonly, googlehealth.health_metrics_and_measurements.readonly and
googlehealth.activity_and_fitness.readonly.
How it is used
The data is used only to give the owner his own coaching features: a daily readiness view, his training plan and his body trends. It is not sold, not shared with other people, not used for advertising, and not used to train AI models.
When the owner chats with the coach, short excerpts may be sent to an AI service he chose (Anthropic's Claude API) to write the reply. That provider does not use API data to train its models.
Where it is kept
The data is stored on the owner's own private server, reachable only from his own devices, with encrypted backups. The sign-in token is kept as a protected secret on that server and on his own computer.
Removing access and data
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The owner can delete the stored data from his server at any time.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Coacher's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
